All Stress Relief

Train Travel

Overcrowded roads and the general aggravation the motorist all too often has to face, can make rail travel seem an attractive alternative to driving. The stressful burden of responsibility involved in getting from point A to point B by car is removed; and you can use the traveling time profitably to read, relax, or catch up on work in the train.

But traveling by train has stresses of its own too. Top of the list come cancellations and delays, which all commuters have to suffer at one time or another. Inadequate information or warnings about these, together with an absence of apology, can make these all the more frustrating and stressful.

Railway stations tend to be crowded, dirty and noisy places, and crowds, dirty, uncomfortable conditions, and high noise levels are all readily identifiable stressors. Long queues at ticket offices, and possible discourtesy from staff, are every bit as stressful as traffic jams and the bad behavior of other road users to the motorist.
