Tips For Working Wife To Cope Stress

Try to be aware of problems that may arise in your relationship through combining a job with running a home, before they catch up on you. It's sometimes easier to recognize this well-known source of stress in others than in yourself. Make a point of talking through difficulties together before they become hostile issues.

Try not to let your working and home lives overlap. As far as possible avoid taking family worries to work and bringing the job home. Instead, use each of your two lives as a means of relieving stress in the other.

Encourage your partner by being a good listener and proffering advice as and when appropriate, but avoid even indirect pressuring, this can sometimes be quite unconscious, which can easily cause additional stress.

Make use of self-help organizations such as the Working Mother's Association to combine life at work and at home successfully.

Try to set aside some time, however short, in which to relax when you get home from work, to make the transition smoother. If you can possibly sit down for 10 minutes when you get in before preparing the evening meal, you'll feel a lot better for it.
