Difficult Or Incompetent Boss |

A boss of this kind is a very common cause of stress. A difficult boss will usually give insufficient direction but will expect results none the less, and will react unreasonably if he or she does not get them.
An incompetent boss is often guilty of hiding behind his employees’ mistakes instead of taking responsibility for them; over-delegating without giving due credit; or even attempting to pass off his or her own mistakes by laying them at the employees’ door.
Most people will have had some experience of this type of boss - very stressful both on a day-to-day basis and in the long term.
