Disappointments

Almost everyone suffers at least one major disappointment in the course of their working life. Learning how to handle disappointment, by putting it in its proper context, getting it in perspective and realizing it will usually be only a temporary setback that can be overcome, is one of the most constructive ways of coming to terms with a major cause of stress at work.

Causes of stress at work obviously vary from person to person and from job to job. Identify stress in your own job, and gauge your personal work stress levels.
