Compliment Others

Few people ever get complimented for who they are or what they’ve done. Sure, you get a raise and other benefits at work, but that is not quite like a round of applause or a compliment. Paying compliments is simple to do and it will pay enormous dividends in the world around you.

 

Resolve that you will find something good to say about every person you must deal with. For instance, "l like your tie;" "You have a nice smile;" "That was a great job you did;" "You have a beautiful family;" "Your report was really clear." It doesn't take much and you may have to search pretty hard in some cases, but do it! You can still give compliments even if you have to discuss something negative.
